I studied computer science for 4 years and have dipped back into software development throughout my career. My first biz, Pretty Analytics, was a trend reporting service built off of custom natural language processing software.

Hi, I’m Sarirah! Nice to meet you. As a proud member of the “squiggly career club”, I’ve spent a decade working in the beauty industry wearing many different hats. (I’ve listed them in small print below if you’re curious).
Working both agency and in-house, I’ve gained rich insight and hands-on experience across the many stages of launching, repositioning and growing a brand.

Connection - All the elements of your brand strategy need to connect for there to be light on the circuit. Understanding your bigger picture before we zoom into the details brings clarity.
Creativity - Focusing on adding value leads to crafting content and strategic moves that will pull people towards you. I’m not a fan of product pushing. It’s all about the cycle of attract and nurture.
At the heart of it, my goal is to work with founders to build resilient, purpose-led brands that can thrive. I do this through strategic support, crafting your voice and delivering the words and clarity you need to humanise your brand, connect with your community and sell with intention.
I choose to lead with strategy because if our foundations are wobbly, good copywriting will only take us so far.
My approach to strategy includes: brand voice development, clarity on that heavy mission statement you’re grappling with and delving into the strategic sprints you need to lay solid foundations for brand success.
Truth be told, it’s 50% strategy + research, 30% expert market knowledge and 20% about writing great copy.
